Hey Squirtle! Love what you're building with CloakShell, here are a couple feature ideas that I think would make community management way more powerful:
drag to reorder channels and custom categories. Right now channels can't be reordered or grouped into custom categories. Being able to drag channels up and down and create named category folders would make organizing large communities way cleaner. Think Discord's category system but done better.
a role hierarchy system. Currently roles don't have a hierarchy, meaning a lower ranked role could theoretically affect a higher ranked one. It would be awesome to have a vertical role stack where roles higher up can't be moderated, kicked, or affected by roles below them. Mods can't touch Admins, regular Members can't touch Mods, etc. The hierarchy would be visually represented and draggable to reorder. Permissions stay as is, just with hierarchy enforcement layered on top.
symbol support in channel names. Right now channel names are restricted to lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only. Symbols are really important for customization and aesthetic reasons, especially for communities that have a specific theme or vibe. Even just supporting a small set of symbols would go a long way.
This would make moderation way more intuitive and the overall experience way more personal and polished. Hope these help, happy to elaborate on any of them. Keep building, this platform is on fire!
